Please note, we are currently upgrading a couple of our rooms, to create a much larger accommodation with balconies overlooking the new road from Kirkovo to Makaza pass.

We are sitated literally on this new border road and less than approx 6 miles/10 kms to Makaza when the border road opens, due to open soon and only a couple of minutes to the northern Greek border post.

The quickest way to get to southern Kirkovo Kardzhali is a flight to Plovdiv airport.

Plovdiv airport is approximately one and half to 2 hours journey by car

Sofia airport is approximately 4 and half hours journey to Kirkovo

near to the Makaza border pass road, on the outskirts of Kirkovo, we are the closest motel/hotel if you wish to have quick Makaza pass road access into northern Greece.

As you can see from this map of where we are, the white road is the new road that will be open from Kirkovo throo Makaza pass onto Komotini northern Greece. To get onto this new road, take the bridge by our hotel and you are immediately on this new border road.

We are situated on the outskirts of Kirkovo and a car or car rental is an essential in order to get about.

Kirkovo town itself, is just a couple of minutes drive or a rather brisk walk.

Kirkovo town does not have many shops, but it has a few bars that serve small pizza’s or similar and a few small supermarkets.
